Method

Mix together poor working conditions, drops in pay and technological changes.

Let rise until you have tempers blazing, strikes, riots, gunshots, sheds burning.

Leave to brew whilst you form the Australian Shearers’ Union (will later evolve to be the AWU).

Introduce the ghost of long dead shearers’ cook Blackchops McGinty to stir the pot.

Check the mix at 1891, 1956 and 1982 and you should see...

What You Need to Know

The experience is approximately 60 minutes and commences in the foyer area at Shear Outback. Show times vary in accordance with sunset times- please check show time when booking.

Approximately 70% of the show occurs outside so rug up- a warm jacket, good walking shoes, camera and a steady nerve are all that are recommended.

Tours are  cancelled for extreme weather conditions only. Payment by credit card is accepted.
