2010 National Shearing and Woolhandling Championships - Oct 15th & 16th 2010
Shear Outback will host the 2010 Championships at the Hay Showground on 15th and 16th October 2010.
Entries are being taken now for open competition events.
Gates open 7.00am daily. Gate fee - $5.00 Adults children gold Coin.
Full program of events.
Open Shearing,Senior Shearing,Intermediate Shearing,Novice Shearing.
Open Woolhandling,Novice Woolhandling.
Open Teams,Intermediate Teams.
Woolpressing and a Blade Shearing Event.
The Australian National Team and the New Zealand World champion team are also competing.
All states have entries in the open competition as well as competing in the National Competition.

Services Club Speed Shear Friday 15th October 2010
The Hay services Club are running a Speed Shear Competition on Friday 15th October.
Limited entries.
7pm Start.
Great Prizes on offer and a smorgasbord dinner will be available.

Shear Outback Annual General Meeting 2010
Shear Outback will hold its Annual General Meeting at 5.30pm on Thursday 25th of November, 2010 at Shear Outback. All welcome.
Festival of the Blades 24th April 2011
24th April 2011 will see another four shearing legends inducted to the Australian Shearers Hall of Fame.
Nominations packs are available now and need to be returned before 31st August 2010.
